After years of dreaming, months of planning, weeks of educating with the US Constitution, yesterday we launched the all-new TalkErie.com at 1530 hours with the Joel Natalie Show.
I’m overwhelmed by the encouragement and good wishes I have received from friends old and new. Folks are being so kind and I appreciate that. My hope is that with each day, I can do a little better than the day before.
The most rewarding part of this new venture is that I’m doing it with dear friends, including our steady fearless leader and resources, Adam Q. Frase. It’s a joy to bring back to the studios Ron Raymond and Margaret Caldwell to provide the news. And I owe so much to my new friend and show producer Shani Bills, whose positivity and smarts are adding so much to the quality of the program
It was a half of a life ago when this former 20-something had an vision for what a relevant contemporary Christian radio station could sound like for Erie, and now WCTL is celebrating 51 years of broadcast ministry more powerful and impactful than ever. Now we are trying again to make a difference in the community we love by educating and encouraging our neighbors through local news and a local hometown talk show.
