An award-winning daily local talk show focused on Erie: The Joel Natalie Show

Joel Natalie’s daily three-hour program is singularly focused on Erie, featuring dialogue with news-makers and experts on the most important topics our region faces. Joel’s show daily features news, hard conversations, controversy, opinion and fun, with an emphasis on friendships, family, and community.

Joel Natalie is uniquely qualified in our region to orchestrate this conversation on TalkErie.com. A 40-year broadcast and communications veteran, Joel is an Erie native who grew up in the west-side Little Italy neighborhood, was educated in local parochial schools and at Gannon University. His work has earned three Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Excellence in Broadcasting Awards — among the highest honors in the state — and his podcast has surpassed 1,000 episodes, making it one of the most sustained local voices in the region.

He has been an on-air personality and manager in Top 40, Adult Contemporary, and Christian Contemporary radio. In addition, he has directed communications at a large church, has been an avid blogger, and is fully immersed in the social media ecosystem. In recent years, Joel has volunteered his ideas and voice to various strategic planning, anti-violence, and anti-poverty initiatives in the Erie region. Every day, Joel brings those years of experience and investment to bear as he wrestles with Erie’s biggest challenges in a high-energy, free-wheeling yet substantive conversation that’s both engaging and entertaining. His guests have ranged from political leaders, national authors and columnists, CEOs, executive directors, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders from across the Erie community — from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
