On Sunday at UPMC Park, the Erie SeaWolves (41-22, 77-54) led by six runs over the Somerset Patriots (33-30, 70-62) by the end of the seventh inning. The Patriots plated five runs in the top of the eighth to cut the lead down to one, but in the end it was Erie that pulled through in an 11-10 victory to secure the second half title in the Eastern League Southwest, and its fifth consecutive playoff berth on its final regular season home game.

Erie plays its final series of the regular season against the Reading Fightin Phils on the road beginning on Tuesday at 6:45 PM.

The SeaWolves have qualified for the 2026 playoffs. Erie won the Eastern League’s Southwest Division second half title and will take on the first half champions, the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants). The Southwest Division Series and Eastern League Championship Series are each best-of-three series. The SeaWolves may host as many as two playoff games at UPMC Park.

Tickets for individual playoff games are now on sale. Tickets may be purchased at the UPMC Park Ticket Office (Monday-Friday 10 AM-5 PM; closed on Labor Day). More information available on the Seawolves Playoff page.
