Erie, PA- Based on the current forecast for heavy snowfall for the weekend, as well as the problem of drifting snow caused by high winds, Mayor Schember has declared a Snow Emergency for the City of Erie beginning at 4:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2019 and continuing until 8:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019.

The Snow Emergency extends the inner city posted odd-even parking regulations to include Saturday and Sunday.

Additionally, residents are asked to remain off City streets as much as possible to allow crews to efficiently plow snow.

Residents should tune to local television, radio stations and/or appropriate websites for updates of weather conditions and further information regarding the Snow Emergency.
