The Jefferson Educational Society has begun accepting applications for the 2019 Jefferson Civic Leadership Academy. Since 2015, 96 individuals have graduated from the Academy. Jefferson Director of Operations Ben Speggen explained to TalkErie.com what participants will learn.
“This is an amazing opportunity for emerging professionals throughout Erie County who are looking for a dynamic way to plug in, to better learn the form and function of local and state government, and to have a meaningful impact throughout the county by addressing critical issues facing the region,” Speggen said.
Rolling admissions are happening now, with a deadline of May 17th.
