Meadville, PA – A talented musical line-up is tradition for the annual Crawford County Fair. Celebrated country artist Kane Brown and renowned Christian rock band Newsboys will headline the 2019 Toyota Concert Series for Country Night and Christian Night respectively. Kane Brown will be joined by country-pop band Seaforth during Country Night on August 21, 2019, and Newsboys with special guest Mac Powell and the Family Reunion will perform on Christian Night, August 22, 2019.
“We are excited about the musical acts coming to the fair for this year’s Toyota Concert Series,” said George Deshner, Stage Manager for Crawford County Fair. “Kane Brown is rising rapidly in the country music scene and is drawing huge crowds wherever he performs. Newsboys have a strong standing in Christian music and will deliver an outstanding concert for the fair.”
Kane Brown is one of country music’s rising artists thanks to his deep country baritone and numerous catchy singles. After the success of a cover video he uploaded in 2015 of George Strait’s “Check Yes or No,” Brown has since been recognized in the industry as an award-winning artist. Brown has made headlines as a “2018 Breakthrough Entertainer of the Year” by Associated Press, and his 4X Platinum single, “Heaven,” was named the “Most Played Song of the Year” by Country Radio. He has been nominated for four Billboard Awards and is a 3-time AMA Award winner. Brown is also the first artist to have simultaneous number ones on all five main country charts, and is the first male solo artist in 24 years to debut both his first and second albums at #1 on the Billboard charts. Brown is scheduled to perform on the 2019 Ride All Night Tour with Jason Aldean through September.
Newsboys is known for their high-energy live performances. Over the course of twenty years, the Christian band has earned eight RIAA Gold® certifications, 33 #1 radio hits, four Grammy® nominations, two American Music Award nominations and multiple Dove Awards. The Platinum-selling band is known for their mega-hit rock-pop singles, “God’s Not Dead,” “We Believe,” and “Born Again.” Newsboys is currently on their Surrounded & United Tour and will be releasing their album “United (Deluxe)” on May 10, 2019.
