Boro with the Works

On Friday, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania announced Boro with the Works, presented by Rebich Investments. Thanks to the Borough of Edinboro and several local sponsors, EUP is bringing fireworks back to Edinboro on July 3.

The fun-filled community events will be held near Mallory Lake on campus at Edinboro University. Fireworks will be provided by local business Flagship Fireworks, LLC, which just recently opened on Route 6N.

Starting at 6 p.m., Boro with the Works will feature a Kids Zone sponsored by Dr. Kenton Andryc of Greater Erie Dental. Also confirmed for the events are several food trucks including The Chameleon, Angry Chicken, Sticks & Bricks, Fat Boy Philly’s and Kona Ice.

Music for the event will be provided by Millennium Sound Productions, followed by a patriotic performance from the Concert Band of Northwest Pennsylvania. The concert band will kick off at 8:30 p.m. behind Pogue Student Center.

Fireworks should commence after 9:30 p.m.

Additional sponsors include Deiss & Halmi Engineering, Edward Jones Investments, Le Jardin Florals & Furnishings, Northwest Bank, John’s Wildwood Pizza and Andover Bank.

In the event of rain, the firework display will take place on the night of July 6.
