On the Monday program Adam Q. Frase, filled in for Joel Natalie as we talked about PIAA Sports.  A proposed new law has been set into motion that would affect our local interscholastic athletes and the schools.  We discussed this new development, as well as issues including divisions between private and public schools, the shortage of officials, transfer rules for athletes, and various PIAA topics.  The experts who coached us through this: Bill Flanagan, Athletic Director for Cathedral Prep and Villa; Ben DiStefano and Paul Adamczeyk, radio color commentators for high school football broadcasts; and Tom Reisenweber, sports writer for the Erie Times News.. Finally, an update on the upcoming Save-an-Eye football game by Doug White, and a reminder about boating safety from Mike Parker from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.
