Wednesday, we talked about recycling. Why can’t we recycle glass? Which items can we recycle now? What about all of these changes to the recycling rules? Our guests included Erika Deyarmin, Public Affairs Coordinator for Waste Management in Western Pennsylvania to learn about the recent changes and get an idea of what recycling looks like today; and then Brittany Prischak, Sustainability Coordinator for Erie County joined us so we could learn about recycling locally, and what we can do to contribute to the sustainability of our environment. Finally, we heard from Ralph Pontillo, Executive Director of Roar on the Shore and got his take on how the motorcycle rally went last weekend after its controversial move out of Downtown Erie.
