Tonight is National Night Out, and Erie County will celebrate in a big way. United Way of Erie County is sponsoring 21 locations throughout the region, and TalkErie’s news partner, Erie News Now, is hosting a 22nd location on their Weatherdeck at their studios at 35th and State. Neighborhood events feature free food, music and games and an opportunity to interact with local police and firefighters. National Night Out promotes a spirit of community, and encourages everyone to play a role in supporting the education of neighborhood youth. Event locations include several places in the City of Erie, the City of Corry, Wesleyville, Lawrence Park, Belle Valley and Greene Township.
