In a 7 to 2 vote Monday afternoon, the Erie School Board passed a resolution to direct Superintendent Brian Polito to get bids for outsourcing Custodial Services for the district’s school buildings. Last week, the board failed to pass the same resolution, and put the City school district in jeopardy of a state take-over. The bid solicitation is required by the district’s Financial Improvement Plan.
Board members Robbie Fabrizi and Frank Petrunger, Jr. were the lone “no” votes.
