Erie, PA – Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper is once again inviting residents to join her on her annual Bike Around the County ride. This year’s ride will take bicyclists on a 32- mile route from Fairview Township to Union City.
The group of riders will meet at Camp Hawthorne Ridge, 7755 Hawthorne Ridge Road in Fairview, at 8:30 a.m. Friday. Riders will depart the camp at 9:15 a.m. and set off on their daylong bike trip, traveling through Fairview, Franklin Township, Washington Township, Edinboro, LeBoeuf Township and Union Township before reaching the end point of the route in Union City.
Stops planned along the way will showcase local historic, recreational and agricultural assets including Howard Falls, Hurry Hill Farm Maple Museum and Caflisch Park.
