Interest is high for the upcoming Global Summit XI, presented by the Jefferson Educational Society. This three-week series of 12 lectures will attempt to address some key issues that the Erie region, the United States and the world are facing.
Jefferson Vice President Ben Speggen told TalkErie.com that the hottest ticket so far is an Evening with George Will, Thursday, November 7th at Gannon University’s Hammermill Center. Will’s regular column in the Erie Times-News makes him a draw.
“Folks in Erie are familiar with him, and he’s off the heels of a critically-acclaimed and now best-selling book Conservative Sensibility, so that’s drawn him a lot of attention recently,” Speggen said.
