On the Tuesday program, we learned more about the efforts being made to diversify the teacher work force in our public schools. Ken Nickson, Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Erie’s Public Schools was our guest. Ken also spoke to the parts of the Erie School District’s strategic plan in regards to proportionate discipline and changing the sometimes prevailing attitudes about minority students.
