The City of Erie’s Dept. of Public Works would like to remind residents whose regular refuse pick-up night is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday that their refuse pick-up will be delayed one night during the weeks of Christmas and New Years. Refuse collection in the Sunday and Monday night areas will remain the same.
Additionally, the City of Erie’s annual Christmas tree collection will begin Wednesday, Dec. 25 and run until Thursday, Jan. 24. Residents are asked to place their live Christmas tree, free from decorations, curbside the same evening as their regularly schedule collection night.
