Erie's Public Schools

EPS is modifying its meal distribution schedule as we work to continue to serve our families while ensuring the health and safety of our staff, food partners and the entire EPS community.

Beginning Monday, March 30, EPS will distribute meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals will no longer be distributed on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next week.

Meals will be distributed only at the following locations:

  • All district elementary schools
  • All district middle schools
  • Erie High School
  • Meals will no longer be distributed at Collegiate Academy, the Patrick J. DiPaolo Student Success Center at Emerson Gridley, Perseus House Charter School of Excellence and the Robert Benjamin Wiley Community Charter School.
  • Families may pick up meals at the school closest to them regardless of the school their student attends.

It is important to note that though the distribution schedule is changing, students will receive the same number of meals each week. Every Monday and Wednesday beginning Monday, March 30, students will receive two breakfasts and two lunches. Every Friday, students will receive three breakfasts and three lunches.

Meals are available to all persons under age 18, including all public, private, parochial and charter school students. All families will be asked to provide their child’s name, student ID number if possible, and the name of their child’s school.

EPS families may also pick up grade-specific educational paper packets weekly at any school during meal distribution times.
