County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper today announced three new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Erie County, and a total of 810 negatives. The total positive cases of COVID- 19 in Erie County to date is 35.
Two individuals are in their 50s; one is in their 60s. Overall contact tracing by Erie County Department of Health continues on all open cases. The new cases appear to be linked to other confirmed positive cases through contact spread.
The state of Pennsylvania has seen 1,989 new cases and 28 more deaths in the past 24 hours.
The environmental task force team at Erie County Department of Health continues to make field inspections and work with life-sustaining businesses to help them come into compliance.
“One new resource that we are launching today is a map that reflects the latest cumulative cases by zone on the confirmed positive COVID-19 cases across Erie County,” Dahlkemper said.
This map will be available today and will be updated Monday through Friday at eriecountypa.gov.

- Friday, April 10 at 11 a.m.
- Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m.
- Sunday, April 12 – no briefing
