County Executive announces one new confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in Erie County for total of 38

County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper today announced one new confirmed positive case of COVID-19 has been reported in Erie County, and a total of 1,007 negatives. The total positive cases of COVID-19 in Erie County to date is 38.

The individual is in their 50s and is associated with travel. Overall contact tracing by Erie County Department of Health continues on all open cases. The majority of cases overall appear to be linked to other confirmed positive cases or are travel related.

The state of Pennsylvania has seen 1,676 new cases and 78 more deaths in the past 24 hours.

No briefing will take place Sunday, April 12.
