County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper announced four new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Erie County. The total positive cases of COVID-19 in Erie County to date is 46, with
1,168 negatives and no deaths of Erie County residents.

One new case is in their teens; the other three cases are in their 50s, 60s, and 80s. Two of the cases are related to travel; investigations are underway on the other cases. Contact tracing continues by Erie County
Department of Health. The new cases are located in Zone 1 and Zone 2, which can be found on the cumulative cases map by zone. As of today, 22 people have recovered.

The environmental task force team at Erie County Department of Health requests businesses to start to develop a written policy on how they will comply with Pennsylvania Secretary Rachel Levine’s order that went into effect yesterday. In addition, they will be issuing guidance to marinas. Someone will hand-deliver this guidance to marina owners.

“We believe that taking these precautions is the first step in getting our economy back to normal and for people to get back to work,” Dahlkemper said.

Mask guidance, how to make them, and how to wear them, is available at eriecountypa.gov, cdc.gov and health.pa.gov.
