Jeremy Peterson, EMTA director, told TalkErie.com that ridership has dropped 70 to 80 percent. The bus service has reduced regular weekday routes from 32 to 18, a typical Saturday service schedule.

Each bus receives a thorough cleaning and disinfecting daily. Riders are encouraged to wear a mask, and practice social distancing while on the bus.
