Erie County reports three new positive cases of COVID-19 for total of 87

 County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper today announced three new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Erie County. The total number of cumulative cases of COVID-19 in Erie County to date is 87, with 1,850 negatives. 

One of the new cases is in their 30s; one is in their 50s; and the other case is under the age of 5. Contact tracing continues by the Erie County Department of Health. The three new cases are all located in Zone 1, and can be found on the cumulative cases map by zone (refresh the page for the updated numbers) at eriecountypa.gov. Updated data can be found on the chart at eriecountypa.gov.

Pennsylvania Alliance for Golf has issued guidance for a safe reopening of golf. This guidance, found under “Business Guidance” on the COVID-19 page of eriecountypa.gov, provides information for staffing, common use items and equipment, tee times, and clubhouse and pro shops. 

“As we start to reopen Erie County, please continue to take precautions,” Dahlkemper said. “Stay in place. Maintain your space. Cover your face.” 

Guidance for masks and for businesses allowed to operate is also available on eriecountypa.gov.
