“Our contact tracers at the health department have been diligently working around the clock to identify contacts of all positive cases since the first case hit Erie County,” Dahlkemper said. “We have a much more robust tracing system locally, and we are confident in our numbers and the work we are doing.”
Dr. Tony Snow, medical director at the Erie County Department of Health joined the County Executive today via Zoom to shed some light on testing and the importance of adhering to social distancing guidelines, universal masking and proper handwashing, especially now that the county has entered the yellow phase. He expressed that doing the hard things now may prevent something worse later.
Guidance for masks and businesses allowed to operate, fact sheets, business resources, family resources, videos and translations continue to be added to eriecountypa.gov as it comes available.
