This morning at the Erie County 9/11 Memorial at the bayfront Blasco Library, Erie Mayor Joe Schember and the command staff of Erie’s police and fire departments, held a small silent observance of the anniversary of the attacks on the United States on September 11th, 2001.
In a statement, city officials said:
“The 9/11 Memorial at the Blasco Library stands as a testament to American resolve, as well as helping us all remember what happened on that tragic day.”
