According to Wall Street Journal’s 2021 College Rankings, Gannon University ranked in the 401-500 range out of nearly 800 colleges and universities in the nation. The rankings of 800 schools are based on 15 individual performance indicators across four main categories: resources, engagement, outcomes and environment.
In a separate news release Gannon has been ranked as a national university for the second consecutive
year, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s recent release of “America’s Best Colleges.” U.S. News ranked Gannon 227th out of 389 national universities. National universities are those that offer a full range of undergraduate majors, in addition to master’s and doctoral programs, and emphasize faculty research or award professional practice doctorates.
The U.S. News & World Report also ranked Gannon in the following categories: 91 out of 220 top colleges and universities that offer undergraduate degrees in engineering, which is based solely on judgments of deans and senior faculty at peer institutions and 209 out of 389 colleges and universities for social mobility, which measures how well schools enrolled and graduated students who were awarded Pell Grants.
In a final press release Gannon University has been recognized among colleges and universities named a 2020 Great College to Work For. Gannon was recognized in three categories: Facilities, workspace and security, professional/career development programs and tenure clarity and process.
Gannon has now made its third appearance on the list of Great Colleges to Work For, joining select universities and colleges across the nation that have proven committed to employee well-being and engagement even amid
challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
