The City of Erie’s Department of Public Works would like to remind residents, whose regular refuse pick-up night is Thursday, that their refuse pick-up night will be delayed one (1) night during the weeks of Christmas and New Years. Refuse collection in the Thursday night area will be moved to Friday night.
Residents whose refuse collection is regularly Sunday night through Wednesday night will not see a change.
Also, the City of Erie’s annual Christmas tree collection will begin Sunday, December 27th and run until Thursday, January 21, 2021.
Residents are to place their live Christmas tree, free from decorations, curbside the same evening as their regularly scheduled collection night.
