The following update on vaccine availability at AHN/St. Vincent Hospital was issued Thursday, Jan. 22, 2021:

Due to the extremely limited supplies of the COVID-19 vaccine, Allegheny Health Network and AHN Saint Vincent continue to prioritize the highest-risk individuals for vaccination when doses become available, including health care professionals and patients who are age 75 and older. At the current time, however, Saint Vincent and AHN have scheduled all of our available COVID vaccine for distribution and we have temporarily disabled our scheduling portal.  We do anticipate receiving additional quantities of the vaccine in the near future, and over the next few days we will be transitioning to a new website portal on AHN.org for scheduling when those doses become available.  We are recommending to those who are interested in a vaccine, when it becomes available at AHN, that they sign up for a MyChart account at www.ahn.org/mychart to receive scheduling updates. It’s important to stress that vaccines, when available at AHN, will be accessible by appointment only. Please do not call the hospital at this time for vaccine information. Instead, we recommend you go to AHN.org to find the latest updates. We understand the public’s concern and frustration about the limited availability of the vaccine and appreciate everyone’s patience as we work hard to distribute the vaccine as quickly and efficiently as possible when we have it to those who need it most.
