Millcreek Township, in partnership with its consultant Ingalls Planning and Design, are pleased to announce a website dedicated to the development of the Presque Isle Gateway District Plan. This plan will guide the Township’s efforts in strengthen and improve the area near the entrance to Presque Isle State Park. Creating an area plan for the Presque Isle Gateway District is the next in a string of initiatives the Township has undertaken to implement the Embrace Millcreek Comprehensive Plan.
The public is invited to visit the website at http://www.millcreektownship.com/gatewayplan. There they will be able to view updates as the plan progresses. Through the end of July, visitors to the site will be able to submit comments and ideas directly on an interactive map of the district. Submissions can include Issues, Opportunities, Assets, and Theme Ideas. The input gathered will be used to shape further public engagement activities, including upcoming community meetings later this summer.
