Canvassing and counting continued this morning at the Erie County Court House, with a release of the unofficial results expected sometime this afternoon.
In the race for Erie County Executive, Republican candidate Brenton Davis held a lead over Democratic nominee Tyler Titus as of Tuesday night’s count that was greater than the remaining ballots to be counted. Last night, Titus was not yet ready to concede the race waiting for every vote to be counted.
Democrat Chris Campanelli declared victory in the Erie County Sheriff’s race, holding an 18% edge over Republican Brian Shank, with some votes still to be counted.
