Erie Area Council of Governments to host a Fire, EMS and Municipal Leadership Seminar

The Erie County Fire and EMS Recruitment and Retention and EMS Committees will host a Fire, EMS and Municipal Leadership Seminar on Thursday, December 9, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Perry Hi-Way Hose Company Social Hall at 8281 Oliver Rd., Erie, PA 16509.

Erie, Warren and Crawford County Officials, municipal leaders, fire department chiefs and business officers and EMS professionals will learn about the initiatives of the combined committees in their efforts to ensure the highest quality of emergency services for all residents of the region. 

Topics for this seminar include Erie County’s Collaborative EMS Response Plan; a new Regional EMS Plan Administrator; revisions to dispatch protocols; Erie County ARPA Public Safety Grant Opportunities and Grant Program Guidance; and the new Erie County EMS Scholarship Fund.  The initiatives will have a significant impact on the future delivery of emergency medical services within Erie County and the tri-county region.
