The Erie Maritime Museum has been nominated as “Best History Museum” by USA TODAY for its 2022 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards. VisitErie is encouraging the local community to cast their votes and put one of Erie’s most treasured assets on this nationally recognized list. The Erie Maritime Museum tells the compelling story of our region’s role during the War of 1812 and the Battle of Lake Erie and is also home to the U.S. Brig Niagara.
