On Sunday, two Republican candidates for statewide offices visited Erie. Gubernatorial hopeful Charle Gerow and US Senate candidate Dave McCormick met the party faithful at Erie County Republican Party headquarters. With less than two days before the election, Gerow told TalkErie’s Joel Natalie that voters are looking for candidates with real solutions.
“The top of mind issue is that people are angry. They’re having a hard time buying gasoline, they can’t buy groceries, if they can find them, they cost an exorbitant price, and they’re having a hard time. They really want some help. So they’re looking for the candidate that hears them, listens to them, and will do something for them,” Gerow said.
Polls open tomorrow morning at 7 o’clock.
