Erie County Executive Brenton Davis is releasing the 2023-2025 Erie County Three-
Year Plan today, as mandated by the Erie County Home Rule Charter. The Plan
provides financial and operational projections and objectives for all parts of county
government over the next three years.
Each part of county government plays a role in bringing together this plan, and each
department includes its mission statement, constituents that are served, department
responsibilities and services offered, trends in use of service, number of employees, the
goals of the department for the next three years, and possible capital projects for each
department.
“The Three-Year Plan is central to transparency in County Government. The financial
projections are not budgets but they are instructive to demonstrating the challenges
ahead in the delivery of services to our 265,000 citizens,” said County Executive
Brenton Davis. “The projections and figures present a roadmap for constituent services
in Erie County. This plan is a general guide for future personnel and financial decisions.
Each budget year presents its own challenges and opportunities, so we remain open to
dealing with those as they come,” Davis added.
The Administration submits the Plan for review to Erie County Council by July 1. Council
has until September 1, 2022 to adopt the long-range plan.
