ERIE recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s best employers in Forbes annual ranking
Erie Insurance (ERIE) has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2022. ERIE is ranked among the top 25 employers in Pennsylvania on the list compiled by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Forbes and Statista selected employers across the country based on an independent survey of approximately 70,000 employees working for companies employing at least 500 people in the United States. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out.
Founded in 1925, Erie Insurance’s home office is in Erie, Pennsylvania and the company employs more than 4,300 people across the Commonwealth. In addition to its headquarters, ERIE also has seven claims and branch locations in cities across Pennsylvania. In total, ERIE operates in 12 states and the District of Columbia.
For 2022, Erie Insurance also appears on Forbes lists of America’s Best Employers, Best Employers for Diversity and America’s Best Insurance Firms.
