Asbury Woods presents Winter Wonderland starting December 1 through December 31 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center at Asbury Woods.

The boardwalk adjacent to the Nature Center at Asbury Woods will be lit up each night, starting December 1 through 31 (except December 24 and 25) from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. We invite the community to stroll along the boardwalk to enjoy a festive holiday light display through the woods. The Andrew J. Conner Nature Center will be open to explore the exhibit hall and shop for holiday gifts in the Squeaky Frog Gift Shop. Also, after a two year-hiatus, our delightful model train display will return, a favorite for all ages.

“Asbury Woods’ Winter Wonderland has become a part of many people’s holiday traditions for over 20 years. We are excited to invite everyone to Asbury Woods during the holiday season, whether you’ve come every year or have never been before. We are happy to provide a way for people to connect to nature with a walk through the Woods during this special time of year. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we can once again offer Winter Wonderland as a free event for the public. Donations are accepted and appreciated on-site but not required to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the beauty of the season,” said Jennifer Farrar, Executive Director.

The holiday lights will twinkle in the woods and wetlands along the fully accessible boardwalk, covering 1/3 of a mile, great for all ages and abilities. Access to the lighted boardwalk and Nature Center will be free and open to the public.
