The Erie County Elections Office has created a database to provide interested candidates with all of the necessary guidelines (https://airtable.com/shrcgaKw2VV5PjIVj ) to appear on the ballot for the May 16th Municipal Primary.
“With this year being a local election, we wanted to provide all Erie County residents interested in running for office with the best resources available.”, Tonia Fernandez, Director of Elections.
The office will also hold a training for those interested in running at the HO Hirt Auditorium from 5:30pm-7pm on February 8th. Those interested in attending can register at: https://airtable.com/shrHapZCINF7VaE22. Once candidates register for the database and training, they will have the ability to print petitions beginning on February 1st. The petition circulation period to obtain signatures is from February 14th through March 7th.
