Erie Downtown Partnership’s Thursday Summer Concert Series Returns to Perry Square

The Erie Downtown Partnership is pleased to hold the first in their series of Summer Thursday Concerts tomorrow, Thursday, July 6th, at 7:00 pm in Perry Square Park in Downtown Erie. The concerts will take place on the stage in West Perry Square and will run every Thursday in July and August except for the week of Celebrate Erie. The 8 weeks of shows will feature local bands performing both original music and covers. This week’s show features local favorites Mayflower Hill performing from 8:30 to 10:00 pm and Matthew Crays and Co. opening the night from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. The full schedule can be seen below:

Events Manager Dave Tamulonis says “We really wanted to expand the opportunity for local performing artists by adding another band each week this year.” The opening bands feature younger, up and coming, and mostly original artists and the headlining bands feature some of Erie’s favorite local acts, both seasoned and new.
