PA CareerLink®, a leading workforce development agency, is excited to announce the launch of the PY-
23 Incumbent Workers Training Campaign aimed at empowering local businesses and employees with

enhanced skills and knowledge for continued success in the ever-evolving job market.
The Incumbent Workers Training Campaign is part of our ongoing commitment for fostering a skilled and
adaptable workforce that meets the demands of today’s industries. The campaign offers a comprehensive
range of training programs and resources designed to upskill and reskill incumbent workers, ensuring
they remain competitive and contribute to their organizations’ growth.
Additionally, the Incumbent Workers Training Campaign offers flexible training options, including online
and on-site training sessions, to accommodate diverse work schedules of organizations and businesses
within our workforce development area.
We understand that investing in employee development is essential for building a skilled and competitive
workforce. By partnering with local businesses, we aim to equip companies with the resources they need
to remain resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing economic landscape.
According to Dr. Lisa Miller, Executive Director of NWPA Job Connect, the Workforce Development Board
of NWPA, “The Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Campaign is an important tool for businesses that helps
them deal with continued gaps in workforce, especially those created by waves of retirements. In addition
to businesses developing a trained workforce, IWT is a wonderful way to engage the workforce that is
already invested in a business and who sees the value in the company and plans to grow with the
company. Developing your current workforce is a wonderful way to foster the workforce that will take a
business into its next phase of development. Businesses, employees and the region benefit from the IWT
Campaign.”
