MILLCREEK, PA – Millcreek Township is hosting a photo submission contest for the 2024 community
calendar. Artists can have their submissions potentially sent to every home in Millcreek Township.
“This is an excellent chance for exposure for any talented creators out there seeing Millcreek through a
camera lens,” said Communications Coordinator Samuel Peterson, “This year we are particularly looking
for unique, active and interesting perspectives on what makes Millcreek a beautiful community.”
Inclusions in the calendar may entail a cover photo, a month photo, or a smaller tile. Find the 2023
calendar online at www.millcreektownship.com at the Community Relations and Sustainability
department page.
All photos must be turned in physically or digitally. If done physically the submissions must be loaded on a
USB with the photographer’s name and contact info to the Millcreek CRS Department Office at 3608 West
26th Street. USBs will not be returned. Submissions can also be accepted digitally with the same
requirements sent via a downloadable cloud link, or similar method,
to communication@millcreektownship.com. You will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive
confirmation within one week, please reach out via phone or drop off submissions physically. All
submissions must be entered by August 31, 2023.
The Community Relations and Sustainability Department and Recycling Committee will judge entries.
Millcreek Township reserves the right not to use photos and or may continue to use them in future years
without further consent. Photographers will receive credit for any photo used within the calendar and
other Township publications. Photos must be horizontal and in .jpeg, .png, or .tiff format at 300dpi or
larger. At a 12-inch wide by 9-inch long page, this equals 3600 x 2700 pixel density to fill the page.
Some suggestions are Millcreek parks and recreation areas and activities, watersports, lake and stream
fishing, golfing action shots, bicycling, wildlife, Waldameer, Asbury Woods seasonal events, winterscapes,
winter activities, MYAA and MSD sporting events, TREC seasonal events, Millcreek 4th of July Parade, iconic
Millcreek scenery and people enjoying Millcreek.
