Note: the following is a release from the McCormick for Senate campaign.

Dave McCormick, a combat veteran and Pennsylvania job creator who served at the highest levels of government, tonight announced he is running to represent the people of Pennsylvania in the United States Senate. During his announcement speech, McCormick laid out how this race is a choice between a Pennsylvania success story and a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s failed agenda.

“I’m a combat veteran, a successful businessman, and a seventh-generation Pennsylvanian. My opponent is a nice guy, but he’s not a leader.  This moment requires leaders who aren’t afraid to shake up Washington to not only restore the American dream, but also to rekindle the American spirit. That’s who I’ve always been. That’s who I will always be,” said McCormick.

“This is a race between a Pennsylvania success story and a rubber stamp. Ladies and gentlemen, Pennsylvania cannot afford six more years of Bob Casey. It’s a privilege for me to stand before you to declare my candidacy. With your help and support, we will win this race!”

Dave has received the endorsement of every Republican member of Congress from Pennsylvania: Brian Fitzpatrick, Dan Meuser, Scott Perry, Lloyd Smucker, John Joyce, Guy Reschenthaler, Mike Kelly and Glenn Thompson.
