As part of a continued effort to improve the guest experience, Erie Events announced today that all concession stands at the Erie Insurance Arena, Warner Theatre and Bayfront Convention Center will now only accept cashless forms of payment.
Digital payments are faster, safer and easier.
“Erie Events will join venues across the country in transitioning to a cashless experience, creating a faster, more efficient and more secure payment system for patrons,” said Gus Pine, Erie Events Executive Director. “Being cashless will reduce the wait time in line and make transactions quicker.”
Credit cards, debit cards and mobile payments will be accepted.
The first cashless event takes place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 with the Erie Otters home opener at the Erie Insurance Arena followed by An Evening With Whitney Cummings on October 13, 2023 at the Warner Theatre and the Strongman National Championships on October 20 & 21, 2023 at the Bayfront Convention Center.
The Erie Events box office will continue to accept cash for payment along with credit and debit cards. Cash will also be accepted at all parking garages.
