On Friday, students from the Advanced Technology Club at Harbor Creek High School were featured on NBC’s Today Show, showcasing their efforts to successfully make contact with the International Space Station recently.
Correspondent Harry Smith spoke to students about how they got the equipment and training necessary to connect to an astronaut at the ISS.
Harbor Creek Assistant Principal Drew Mortensen explained that the project was totally student-led.
