Annual event providing a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day scheduled for February 9, 2024
Asbury Woods presents our annual Valentine’s event, Luminaria, on Friday, February 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center at Asbury Woods.
The event provides a unique way for individuals, friends, and couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Attendees will enjoy a self-guided stroll through our meandering trails, following the flickering lights of luminaries lighting a path through the woods, then warm up by a cozy fire in our picnic shelter. Attendees will each receive a goody bag and enjoy a selection of seasonal beers from Erie Beer and hand-crafted chocolates from Frank’s Chocolates. Childcare will be available for a nominal cost.
“Valentine’s Day is an annual celebration of love, admiration, and appreciation for family, friends, and partners. Here at Asbury Woods, we feel it is appropriate to extend those same feelings to natural places such as the 234 acres of beautiful wetlands, fields, forests, streams, and historic properties which surround us,” said Jennifer Farrar, Executive Director.
