One of Erie’s most popular annual events, The Great American Book Sale, returns to the Flo Fabrizio Ice Arena, 527 West 38 th Street, Erie, PA 16509, on Sunday, June 16th. The sale runs from Sunday through Friday, June 21st. With over 75,000 gently used books, audiobooks on
CD, music CDs, DVD’s, and puzzles. There is something for everyone. Books available range from recent fiction, mystery, history, science fiction, and a greatly expanded children’s book section. Sports, travel, religion, home and crafts and self-help are well-represented as well.
Book prices will be $2 for hardcover books and large sized paperbacks and $1 for regular paperbacks for the first few days of the sale. Children’s book prices are $1 for hardcover and $.50 for paperbacks.
Also on sale will be a selection of specially priced high quality collectible books including very attractive coffee table books, Erie history titles and nearly new gardening and cookbooks.
Beginning on June 16 th , the sale will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, June 20th and Friday (bag day) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We invite the public to come early for the best selection and return often during the week to discover even more hidden treasures!
Parking is free. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Erie County Public Library. The Friends of the Erie County Library fund a variety of educational programs, classes, events, and activities for all ages.
