The 2024 edition of the annual Erie Gives giving day sponsored by the Erie Community Foundation was another record breaker.
In an event Tuesday morning at UPMC Park, Foundation officials announced that a total of $9,709,602 were raised on August 13th. A total of 11,237 donors gave to 513 different non-profits who participated. The United Way of Erie County received the highest dollar amount donated, and The Anna Shelter the most donations…1,176.
