Tuesday, Nov. 5th at 11:30 AM ET:

Polling locations are open today from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Anyone in line at 8:00 p.m. can vote no matter how long it takes. Voters are encouraged to use this lookup tool to determine their assigned polling location.

Voters who were sent a mail-in ballot but did not receive the ballot may vote today by appearing at their assigned polling location and voting a provisional ballot.

If you received and completed a mail-in or absentee ballot, it must be returned today by 8:00 p.m. at the Elections and Voter Registration Office at the Erie County Courthouse (140 W Sixth Street, Room 112).

Since it is a presidential election, voters should plan to wait in line to vote. Lines may be long, so please be patient. Poll workers will process voters as quickly and accurately as possible to ensure a smooth voting process. Voters should plan ahead and review their sample ballot and provisional voting guidance before heading to the polls to make their voting experience better.

Initial unofficial results will be posted after 8:00 p.m. tonight. Please be patient. Results are updated as election officials tabulate mail-in ballots and receive counts from all polling locations, and this can take time.

In addition, provisional ballots must be processed and counted by November 12, 2024. Initial certification of all election results must be completed by November 19, 2024, and final certification must be completed by November 25, 2024.
