Based on the inclement weather and the large amount of snow we are receiving, Mayor Schember has declared a Snow Emergency for the City of Erie beginning Friday, November 29, 2024, and continuing throughout the weekend. The Snow Emergency extends the inner-city posted Odd-Even parking regulations through Saturday and Sunday. Please be sure to abide by Odd-Even parking regulations so that plows can safely clear snow and emergency vehicles are able to safely pass through City streets. EPD will be ticketing and towing vehicles that do not abide by the odd-even regulations over the weekend.

For residential guidelines for Odd-Even parking: if it is an Odd calendar day you would park on the North or West side of your street, if it is an Even calendar day you would park on the South or East side of the street. If you live in a cul-de-sac, please try and park in your driveway. If you live in an area where there is not Odd-Even parking, please to try to park all on the same side of the street to allow enough room for the plow to make it down the middle of the street.

Additionally, residents are asked to remain off City streets as much as possible to allow crews to efficiently plow snow and make our streets safe.
