LECOM Health today unveiled LECOM Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion as the new name of its local hospital during a special ceremony that took place at the Atrium at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Formerly known as Millcreek Community Hospital, LECOM Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion will feature a new 34,000-square-foot addition that houses a new emergency department and intensive care unit, including emergency patient rooms dedicated solely to behavioral health.
This new identity is part of the health system’s ongoing dedication to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of our community.
From its roots as a one-story hospital to the latest 34,000-square-foot emergency department and intensive care unit expansion, the hospital has stayed on the cutting edge of healthcare in Erie, Pa. The special announcement ceremony reflected the latest advancements in the hospital’s illustrious history, and aligns with LECOM Health celebrating its 10-year anniversary.
