Erie Mayor Joe Schember’s run for a third term has ended. Voters chose Daria Devlin in the Democratic Primary. Devlin won with over 50% of the vote. She’ll face Republican Matthew Thomas, who ran unopposed, in November’s general election.

Local business owner Christina Vogel beat Perry Wood with the Gaming Revenue Authority in the Erie County Executive Primary and will go up against Republican incumbent Brenton Davis in the fall.

In other key races:

  • Incumbent Millcreek Township Supervisor Dan Ouellet lost his bid for a second term as Harry Morgan won the Republican nomination. Morgan faces Democrat Kylie Morris, who defeated Dean Carlson to earn a position in the fall General Election.
  • In the Erie County Judge race, it is Emily Mosco Merski winning the Democratic nomination, while Jeremy Lightner grabbing the GOP nod. The local attorneys will face off in November to fill the judge slot vacated by retired Judge Elizabeth Kelly.
  • The City of Corry will also have a new mayor, as voters chose Jeff Fike over incumbent Michael Baker in the Republican primary.
