DBA Formality Bridal, as the 2025 ATHENA PowerLink® Business Owners at a special event held Thursday, May 29, at the Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership.
“We are honored to welcome Kayla Noonan, Dianna Noe, and Penny Bower-Schebal to the Athena PowerLink® family,” said Linda Stevenson, Founder and Director of the Erie ATHENA PowerLink® Governing Body. “Kayla’s and Dianna’s commitment to their craft and vision for Noe’ Noonan School Cosmetology and Penny’s for Formality Resale, Inc DBA Formality Bridal reflect the spirit of innovation and community empowerment that drives this program.”
Launched in 2000 by ATHENA Erie and The Erie Chamber, ATHENA PowerLink® connects selected women entrepreneurs with personalized advisory panels comprised of volunteer professionals in finance, legal, marketing, operations, and more. These expert advisors generously donate their time and expertise to support the business owners’ strategic growth over a full year.
For 25 years, this program has honored women entrepreneurs poised for significant growth — women who embody the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and leadership that ATHENA PowerLink® champions.
“The Erie ATHENA PowerLink program is more than a business resource — it’s a catalyst for transformation,” Stevenson said. “By connecting women entrepreneurs with experienced mentors and strategic guidance, we’re not only investing in their success but in the economic future of our entire region. When women lead, communities thrive.”
The success of ATHENA PowerLink® depends on the unwavering commitment of the ATHENA Erie Governing Body and the generosity of its professional advisors, whose volunteer efforts demonstrate the power of collaboration to strengthen Erie’s economy and support the next generation of women leaders.
“As these women business owners will experience, after a decade in business, ATHENA PowerLink proved to be more than just a valuable resource for deepening my understanding of business economics and operational management,” said Selina Uglow, Owner of The WAY to Healthy Living. “It became a catalyst for the ideas of sustainability and growth beyond my year. The connections that were made were invaluable and remain even today. We look forward to a great year with these recipients and all that it will offer to the future in our region.”
