The Erie Zoo is excited to welcome guests of all ages to one of its most beloved annual events, Equipment Day, happening this Saturday, June 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM

This hands-on, family-friendly event brings massive trucks, tractors, and construction equipment to the Zoo grounds, offering children of all ages the opportunity to get up close, snap photos, and even climb aboard select machines provided by local partners.

“Equipment Day is always a highlight of our summer season,” said Roo Kojancie, president and CEO of the Erie Zoo. “It’s a family favorite that brings hands-on fun for all ages, giving guests a chance to touch, explore, and learn.”

All Equipment Day activities are free with paid admission or an Erie Zoo Membership, and the event will take place rain or shine. While many machines are interactive, guest safety remains a top priority and participation is at the discretion of parents and guardians.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the full Zoo experience, including views of the Glow Wild lanterns, which remain on display throughout the grounds, illuminated nightly Thursday through Sunday until June 15th.
